Nicha Rodboon — Photographer

Originally from Thailand, Nicha Rodboon moved to Europe to pursue a career as a professional ballet dancer. After more than 14 years performing on international stages, her understanding of movement, timing, and light naturally informs her photographic work.

For over a decade, Nicha has worked as a freelance photographer with dance companies, artists, and individuals, alongside photographing portraits, weddings — from large-scale productions to intimate settings. More recently, her work has also expanded to social media content creation and management.

In 2023, she presented her solo exhibition Gati in Antwerp, a collaboration between Thai culture and movement. Using slow shutter speed as a central technique, the work explored still images that suggest motion.

Nicha documents moments as they unfold, creating photographs that remain beyond the moment itself.
